Hotel Overview
Naftalan Central is located 2 km from the centre of Naftalan, opposite the Samad Vurgun City Park. It is 320 km from Baku and 50 km from Ganja.
The spa hotel offers 86 rooms with a total capacity of 172 guests. Standard, Junior Suite and Family rooms range in size from 29 to 58 m². Each room features a safe, telephone, Smart TV, ventilation and air-conditioning system, minibar, electric kettle with a tea set, private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, and a balcony. Meals are served at Zümrüd Restaurant, located on the second floor. A generous buffet featuring Azerbaijani, Turkish and international dishes is offered three times a day. Yaqut Café and the terrace café are open around the clock, serving tea, coffee, freshly squeezed juices, beer, wine, cocktails, sweets and various snacks. Murov Bistro is also located within the hotel’s private 10,000 m² park.
The medical department at Naftalan Central provides a wide range of traditional Naftalan treatments, as well as colon hydrotherapy, ultrasound therapy, laser therapy, electro- and phonophoresis, ozone therapy, Sollux lamp therapy, various types of electrotherapy, inhalations, lymphatic drainage, massages, spinal traction and other procedures. The hotel also has its own diagnostic laboratory.
After staying at Naftalan Central in Naftalan, Azerbaijan, I can share a few impressions. The first thing that immediately stands out is how new everything feels. In 2025, the entire complex still looked completely fresh and modern. The location is particularly convenient: the hotel has its own park, while the city park and supermarkets are nearby. The city centre is approximately a 20-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and all feature balconies.
I had no complaints about the quality of the treatments or food. The range of procedures is standard for Naftalan and includes Naftalan oil baths, physiotherapy and treatments provided by experienced massage therapists. Meals at Zümrüd Restaurant are served buffet-style. The selection is varied and does not feel repetitive. There is no dedicated dietary menu, so guests need to manage their own dietary requirements.
During their free time, guests can visit the entertainment centre, while a separate playroom is available for children. Complimentary access to the gym, sauna and hammam is another major advantage. The only noticeable drawback is the absence of a swimming pool. If a pool is not essential for you, Naftalan Central can be considered a good choice for a family wellness holiday in Naftalan.
